Orphan Black Season 2 Episode 2: Trust No One

thisisinfamous.com

The clones aren't sure who to trust in this week's episode entitled "Governed By Sound Reason and True Religion". I say trust no one (just in case).

Alison attends Aynsley's funeral. How uncomfortable. She continues to rehearse for the musical. Alison tells Felix what happened to Aynsley (and how she did nothing to help her). She secretly meets Sarah Stubbs (her friend from the play) at the cemetery. Donny follows her and calls Dr Leekie. Leekie chastises him by saying "wrong Sarah". Alison is now convinced (again) that Donnie is her monitor.

Helena is still recovering from a gunshot wound. The doctors cant determine how she is still alive. She is kidnapped by one of the Proletheans. I'm calling them Prolos for short. Henrik appears to be the leader at the Prolos Dairy Farm. After a cryptic conversation he shoots Tomas in the head. I'm pretty sure Tomas seems really dead (unlike Helena who was fake dead).

Meanwhile Cosima is at the Dyad Institute. Dr Leekie wants her to make a list of everything she needs for her new lab. Delphine is with her. Rachel visits Cosima.  She wants Cosima to analyze Sarah's DNA and find out why she can give birth and the other clones are sterile.

Sarah gets a call from Kira. She finally tells Art the truth. He is now TeamClone. Sarah is kidnapped by... wait for it... Mrs S. She was also responsible for Kira's abduction. Sarah meets some old friends (the birdwatchers). Is Mrs S a good guy or a bad guy? First I thought bad but by the end of the episode I'm thinking she's good. She helps Sarah and Kira escape by shooting her friend's son. Her friend says she sold them out to the Prolos for money. Mrs S finishes her off with a shotgun blast to the head. Sarah, Kira and Felix are on the run again.

In related news, what is Angie really up to? Where can I get a clone phone? And how did Mrs S become involved in Project LEDA?

Favorite Quotes:

"I was right. It's clone jail."- Cosima

"I found myself praying for her soul. Abominations have no soul."- Tomas

"My sexuality is not the most interesting thing about me."- Cosima

"But I killed Aynsley"- Alison. "Aynsley wore a scarf in the kitchen."- Felix

"Whose side are you are?"- Sarah. "Yours love, always yours"- Mrs S.

Grade: 4 Monsters (out of 5). Next week we'll meet the newest clone (who is apparently sick). As always Felix steals the show with his nude painting.  That guy continually cracks me up. Bonus points for a bad ass Mrs S. She knows her way around a gun. And remind me never to eat with her unless we're using only plastic utensils (no sharp objects please).
