Hunters Season 1 Episode Review: The Beginning And The End (Series Premiere)

"Hunters" premiered on SyFy last week with an episode entitled "The Beginning & The End". A covert government agency called the Exo-Terrorism Unit (ETU) is tasked with capturing "terrorists". They're calling them terrorists but obviously they're aliens. We get some idea of their physiology during an autopsy. They also make a lot of clicking noises. I'm not sure what that's about.

A piano teacher named Abby is captured by the baddies. She's locked naked and freezing in a cage while the guy (who's moonlighting as a DJ) makes some mix tapes. Any idea what's up with all the rabbits? Abby's husband (an ex FBI agent with PTSD named Flynn Caroll) joins in the search for her. Other government agents include Dylan Briggs and Allison Regan (who got her friend/boyfriend killed in the first fight scene).

Grade: 3 Monsters (out of 5). Is there anything new here we've hadnt seen before? I'm leaning towards "no". I always enjoy watching Julian MacMahon (of "Nip/Tuck" fame). Is he enough to keep me coming back? Time will tell. I'll give it at least one more episode before deciding.
