Legends Of Tomorrow Season 3 Episode 10-13 Reviews: LOT Continues To Be My Favorite CW Show

"Legends Of Tomorrow" is back as it alternates time slots with "SuperGirl". In their return episode entitled "Daddy Darhkest" the team is visited by John Constantine. You'll recall he used to have his own show over on NBC. See my reviews here There was also a Constantine movie staring Keanu Reeves.

John and Sara share a bit of history. Remember he resurrected her from the dead via the Lazarus Pit. They also had a quickie hookup. This time Constantine needs the Legends help to exorcise a girl. But surprise! Turns out it's a young Nora Darkh that has the demon Mallus inside her. Sara goes back to the dead realm to free her and is pulled back by Ava. Leo also departs the Waverider in this episode. It's time for him to get back to his planet and his Ray.

Next up is a fun Groundhog Day episode. In "Here I Go Again", Zari keeps trying to fix the ship as it blows up over and over again. She eventually gets help from Gideon who manifests as a woman. Zari learns a little about the other crew members. Rory is secretly writing a novel. Nate and Amaya cant keep their hands off each other. Zari reluctantly agrees to try to work with the group (instead of against them all the time). She also needs their help to save her brother in 2042. Let's hope this is the beginning of Zari getting more air time. She has been underutilized up until this point.

In "The Curse Of The Earth Totem" Sara and Ava FINALLY go on a date...and later a KISS! They are interrupted on date night by Gary (who secretly tells Ava that Rip has escaped the Time Bureau). He's in Japan in 1992 signing karaoke with speedster Wally West (Kid Flash). I must say, they are pretty good. I'm impressed!

Our team learns that there's a six totems they need in order to defeat Mallus. The Fire totem is in 2018 Detroit. Zari has the Air totem. Amaya and Mari both wear the Spirit totem. Team Darhk has the Water totem since Kuasa is wearing it. The previously unknown Earth totem is in 1771 Bahamas. Off they go. Blackbeard has it so everyone dresses and talks like privates. Amaya calls herself the Dread Pirate Jiwe. They're close to retrieving the totem when Damian and an adult Nora show up. They are after the same thing. High jinks occurs. The Waverider gets stuck in the Bermuda Triangle. Everything eventually works out.

But in the end, Ray returns to the Bahamas. He feels guilty for having killed Nora with the nanite gun. He has an antidote and saves her. Ray is a very morale guy (plus it probably also helps that the actress playing Nora is his wife IRL). Ray's kindness is NOT repaid as the Darhks' knock Ray out and kidnap him.

Grade: 4 1/2 Monsters (out of 5). "Legends Of Tomorrow" continues to be loads of fun. The characters dont take themselves too seriously. Yes, the plots are completely preposterous but it doesnt matter since everyone has such a good time. I hope Sara and Ava's relationship continues to blossom and it doesnt stall after one quick kiss. It would be nice to see a softer side of the White Canary (amongst all the ass kicking).
