Can our favorite weasel Alan Snyder be trusted now? He did rescue Bram and help the family escape the city but we're never really sure what he's up to. Looks he's still playing a long game and both sides or every situation. And Snyder aside, it's impossible to know who to trust in this new world. Every encounter could be your last even when dealing with those in the Resistance.
Anywho, looks like everyone is regrouping in Seattle so we'll see what life is like there. We'll also get to meet the mayor played by none other than Wayne Brady.
Elsewhere Helena Goldwin is at her fancy new IGA job. We learn from her limited screen time that two groups of aliens (Hosts and something else) are fighting over the planet. The second group has destroyed the Factory (which was on the moon). Looks like the Earth's fate has just gone from bad to worse.
Grade: 3 1/2 Monsters (out of 5). Yes, "Colony" does feel like a very different show this season. The sci fi series seems to have turned into Swiss Family Bowman. But it's been over a year since we last visited it so I'm willing to give the show a chance. Several mysteries still remain which will hopefully keeps viewers tuning in during season 3-- including: WHY the aliens are here and WHAT they actually look like. Josh Holloway and Sarah Wayne Callies continued to create chemistry as the parents who will do anything to save their kids and fight for humanity.
