Just to recap last week's action packed episode: Gina was hit by a car driven by Lara. It truly was an accident but Lara was drunk and speeding. Ani witnessed this but didn't see who was driving the car. This week's episode was considerably slower. Gina is in the hospital in a coma (hey this is a soap so when someone is hurt they must end up in a coma). The family is all in the waiting room-- the Colonel, Guya, Van, Ani and Sarah. Ani wants to see Gina but the Colonel says "no, only family members can see her". Ouch, that is harsh! Sarah makes a big deal of taking Gina's purse from Ani. I'm not sure what that is about. Meanwhile Owen is still stuck in Heaven's waiting room. He cannot pass on until he completes an important mission.
And right after the Colonel visits her, Gina starts to code. Next she is in heaven with Owen. Ani is running to her room. I'm hoping Gina sees Ani really does love her and decides to get back in her body. I'm glad she was reunited with Owen though. They definitely needed closure.
In other news:
- Lara calls Jake the Snake after hitting Gina. He picks her up, kissed her (eeekk), and says she needs an alibi. They're off to Malbec's. Jake is hoping Gina dies (since they don't know if she can ID Lara as the driver).
- Brandon (Guya's boyfriend) is hot on the case of who hit Gina. If he's as good at this as solving Owen's murder, Lara will die of old age before she is found out.
- Alan finds out about Gina and tells Logan and Kathryn.
