Sleepy Hollow Episode 10 Recap: Golem, Golem, Gone

In this week's episode entitled "The Golem" we learn what happened to Ichabod's son Jeremy. Henry The Sin Eater also makes an appearance.

Jeremy's doll is on the loose and he's not happy. For those of you not familiar with a Golem, it's a creature from Jewish folklore that comes to life. It is sometimes made of clay: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golem He's out to get those ladies with creepy teeth that we saw during the haunted house episode. They are members of Katrina's coven and are responsible for sending Katrina to purgatory and eventually killed Jeremy. They did this as punishment because Katrina disobeyed orders (she was to kill Ichabod). And now they're with a traveling carnival... cause that's how witches roll (plus it's really hard to get a regular desk job with those teeth).

Anyway the Golem was created with Jeremy's blood so he could be killed with Ichabod's blood. And speaking of Jeremy, I'm not really sure he's dead. Maybe he's still alive in his coffin? If so, don't make him cry or he'll burn your house down.

The scene with Captain Irving and his daughter in the park was a fun one. Apparently demons can jump from body to body. That's scary.

And in the final scene Moloch (cant they find a more menacing name for him?) tells Ichy in a vision that he's coming for Abbie. He also says Ichabod will hand Abbie's soul to him. Well that cant be good.

Grade: 3 1/2 Monsters (out of 5). Not my most favorite but every episode of "Sleepy Hollow" is consistently better than some other shows. Yep I'm looking at you "The Black List". There are 3 more episodes of SH to go in January. And then Abbie and Ichy will be back for season 2.
