Murphy Discovers A New Power
In "Murphy's Law" the team has made it to South Park, Colorado. They are of course minus Addy and Mack. We assume Addy is still alive and with the Sisters of Mercy. We're not so sure about Mack.
During the ride Murphy pulls some skin off his hand. He then puts it in his pocket for safe keeping. I thought for sure he would eat it (since we've seen him do that previously). The road is blocked so the group ends up on a golf course where they're attacked by golfer zombies. Zombies are apparently partial to country clubs. Remember when Daryl and Beth happened upon one in "The Walking Dead"? Team Murphy runs out of ammo so have to use golf clubs to fend off the z's. 10K uses his sling and some golf balls. The group is trapped in the club house but is rescued by some newcomers (Brent, Henry and Janice).

They find Murphy outside with a golfing jacket on pretending he's at St Andrews.Too funny. Time to check in with Citizen Z. He is busy searching for Marilyn Merch. She was the doctor who injected Murphy with the experimental z vaccine.
Can the newcomers be trusted? Uh no. They all sit down to share a drink but are drugged. The cons take Murphy and leave Roberta, 10K, Doc and Cassandra handcuffed to a zombie. They finally dispatch the z with an umbrella and unlock the handcuffs with a golf tee. Off they go to rescue Murphy. But where is he? Citizen Z uses a road construction sign to direct them. Arent satellites perfect for everything! Le'ts just forget that road signs dont work like that.
We learn the baddies want all the Oxycontin in Mesa Pharmaceuticals. The only problem is it's filled with zombies hopped up on drugs (Oxycontin, Ritalin and speed). The z's on speed scurry around the facility at a rapid rate. Apparently these zombies are very sensitive to sound so they walk Murphy to get past them.
Murphy spits in Janice's water canteen. We learn her husband was killed the last time they tried to get to the drugs. Murphy is now about to control her thoughts and actions. He later scratches Henry and bites Brent. Now he can control all of them. Murphy goes into the facility and contacts Citizen Z.
Team Murphy (minus Murphy) arrives at the drug company too. When they get to the plant they discover many of the zombies have taken... wait for it... have taken Viagra. "Z Nation" you are the most underrated show on TV! Who else would combine zombies and Viagra?
Everyone descends upon the facility. Janice is eaten by her zombie husband (Jason). Henry is chomped on by zombies. Murphy does a mind meld with Brent and causes him to shoot himself. The others are confused as to what happened but Murphy sidesteps them. Off they go in the pharmaceutical van. I thought Doc would take some of the drugs with him (since they are his favorite pastime). Now that we know Murphy can control whoever he wants, is the rest of the team in danger? Right now he's on the side of good but we previously saw him leave a mother and child for dead and almost ditch everyone after the tornado.

- "Come in Citizen Z, you useless bastard."- Murphy to Citizen Z. We feel the same way dude.
Grade: 4 Monsters (out of 5). Extra, extra bonus points for zombies on Viagra and speed. Hilarious! There is only one episode left this season. Was "Z Nation" renewed for a second? I really hope so. There's nothing like it on TV.
