The Walking Dead Season 6 Episode 7 Review: Thank God For Dumpsters!

"Heads Up" finally gave us the answers we were waiting for. Could Glenn have survived that horrific zombie attack tucked safely under the body of Nicholas. The answer is YES! It unfolded exactly as predicted. He crawled under the nearby dumpster where he safely waited until the zombies dispersed. I could kiss you trash dumpster but I'm not sure that's very hygienic!

Enid somehow ends up finding Glenn and throws him a water bottle. He wants to know what's going on back in Alexandria. She doesnt care. Much of the rest of the episode is spent with Glenn trying to convince her to go back. She is opposed to the idea and pulls a gun on him at one point. That kid is irritating.

Back in town, Rick, Carol and Michionne have a little talk with Morgan. He endangered the others by letting the wolves escape. Morgan tries to explain his "all life is precious" philosophy. I'm with ya in some cases Morgan but this is not one of them. Morgan later asks Dr Denise to bring some antibiotics to the wolf that is locked up. Eagle Eye Carol follows them. I swear Rick and Carol are the only people on this show with half a  brain (no zombie pun intended).

Spencer tries to escape by throwing a line across the zombies and scurrying over. That doesnt work too well. He's saved by the others. Rick chastises Tara for risking her life saying "these people almost got you killed once already". She responds by shooting him the bird. That was funny. It is evident that Rick's survival plans do not include the Alexandrians. He says something similar to Michionne who also shuts him down.

In other news, it looks like Ron is about to put a cap in Carl. Deanna draws up plans for a new Alexandria. Her scene with Rick seems final so that makes me think she's a goner next week. Rosita trains the others on how to kill zombies. Eugene continues to be a wuss.

Glenn and Enid sends some balloons up as a sign they're outside the compound. Maggie comes running. Just then the tower that is part of the parameter wall collapses. We'll pick up here next week as the zombies stream in.

Grade: 4 Monsters (out of 5). The rest of the episode was a little ho hum but we have Glenn back-- and that trumps everything else. There's only one episode left till the midseason break. "TWD" dont you dare save Glenn only to kill him off next week!
