Colony Episodes 6-7 Reviews: Who Is the Real Eric Broussard?

I'm happy to report that "Colony's" plot continues to unfold at a rapid clip. That's "A OK" with me. I don't have time for shows that move at a snail's pace.

In "Broussard" we meet the members of the Greatest Day Church. At least, that's what I'm calling it. I'm not sure of it's real name. Adherents are previous Christians, Muslims, Buddhists etc who believe the aliens will some day whisk them up into the sky. Lindsey (Gracie's weird tutor) and Noland are at today's service. Children are a special focus of the Church. Lindsey secretly gives Gracie one of their books. I fear the Hosts might be preening the kiddies for future meals. Or it's another "Childhood's End" scenario. I still don't understand that one.

Over at Transitional Authority headquarters, Jennifer and Will are given access to the Rolodex. We learn that Jennifer was not a top notch IT expert in her previous life. She instead worked at an online matchmaking company. They finally access the info and learn that Dwight Ford/Eric Broussard has numerous aliases. He was once a top secret special ops agent (insert "assassin") and then went rogue. The RedHats may have their hands full. They attempt to corner Broussard in one house only for it to blow to smithereens (killing several officers). Next he barely escapes after Katie tips him off.

Will is starting to put two and two together. He finds the same book at Broussard's house that Kate has hidden at the Yonk. We know the two are using "Nostromo" to send secret messages. Side Note: "Nostromo" is a 1904 novel by Joseph Conrad. It's also apparently the name of the spaceship in "Alien".

Quayle orders Broussard to kill Katie. He believes she's a double agent. Broussard takes Katie to an isolation area. Surely, he wouldn't kill a main character, would he? After a few tense moments, Katie (sensing she is in danger) walks away and Broussard lets her. He believes her story. How will this affect Broussard and Quayle's relationship? Katie is still in danger as long as Quayle is around.

In the Green Zone Madeline has sexy times with Noland while Charlotte watches. Later Noland hits on her again but Maddy declines. "Three is the magic number" according to Charlotte. He then gives Charlotte some lie and Maddy is demoted. She is desperate to get insulin for her son. She tells Noland to fix it with Charlotte or Madeline will reveal that Charlotte is an art thief. Noland suggests they let Charlotte hang herself and then Maddie can take her place. It is a dangerous game they're playing.

As a thank you for saving his life last week, Snyder gives Will a picture of his son. Katie, upon seeing it, is very emotional. She questions why (if they were close enough to take a picture) they couldn't just bring Charlie home? I wonder if he's even still alive.

Grade: 4 1/2 Monsters (out of 5). I'm continuing to enjoy "Colony". What do you think the Hosts are up to? I would question the existence of any aliens if we hadn't already seen their technology and much of Earth's population wiped out during the Arrival. Otherwise, my guess would be this is a power grab by someone.
