The 100 Season 1 Episodes 7-13 Reviews: Earthlings Vs Space Kids (Season Finale)

I'm still catching up on older episodes of "100" and finally go through season 1.

I'm Definitely Shipping These Two

On The Ground: Finn almost dies after being stabbed by a Grounder. Raven is able to connect with the Ark. Abby walks Clarke through how to save his life. When his conditions again worsen, Octavia gets help from the Grounder (who has the hots for her). We later learn his name is Lincoln and he speaks English. Finn allows Lincoln escape into the woods.

An injured Murphy is found. Soon everyone starts to get sick. Murphy is being used as a biological weapon to wipe out the others.

Anya Means Business

Clarke and Finn are captured by the Grounders. Anya (the leader of the group) wants Clarke to save a girl who was injured during the bridge bombing. She is unsuccessful. It looks like Finn and Clarke will be killed. Lincoln runs to the rescue.

While hiding in the mining tunnels, Clark and Finn encounter another group of humans. Even the Grounders are afraid of the Reapers. Itt's because they're cannibals. Eeeek!

What Happened To Your Face?

Back at camp, Murphy tries to hang Bellamy and eventually escapes into the woods. That kid is a jerk. Luckily he gets his a little later.

On The Ark: As resources (including oxygen) get scarcer, the populace turns on each other. Diane (who was previously Chancellor) is behind much of the unrest. She put Shumway up to having Bellamy assassinate Jaha (in exchange for a spot on the dropship for Octavia). After Shumway is captured, Diana kills him in his cell so he can't expose her.

The plan is to leave the Ark in phases. They will remotely separate the dropships. Fighting breaks out. There arent enough ships. Explosions wipe out a number of the residents.  Their only hope is to launch the separate sections of the Ark. Jaha beats Kane to the punch and sacrifices himself to manually separate the wings.

When did Kane go from trying to kill Abby to hugging her???

Some of the modules explode but others seem to make it to the ground. Abby and Kane survive. They marvel at Earth's beautiful scenery. They see smoke in the distance and head towards it. Let's hope it's not the Reapers.

Sometimes Being A Leader Sucks

Still on the station, Jaha uncorks some 100 year old Scotch. Like Moses, he saved his people but may not be able to join them in the promised land. Great job by Issac Washington! Is he really going to die though?

Guess Who's Coming To Dinner?

In The Finale: The 100 try to escape to the sea. They're forced to turn back to camp. The Grounders plan is to get them to waste all their ammo and then attack. An all out battle occurs. The Reapers eventually join the fight. Who thought that was a good idea? A number of people are killed (including apparently Finn and Bellamy). Oh dear! Clarke and a few others hold up in the ship. Unfortunately Anya is sealed in with them. Clarke keeps the others from killing her.

Jasper activates the ship's rockets (by following a badly injured Raven's directions) and fries those outside. When they exit the craft, charred bodies are everywhere. Men with gas masks arrive. Anya calls them "Mountain Men". They set off a mysterious pink gas that knocks everyone out. Clarke wakes up in a white observation room. She sees Monty across the hall. On the wall is a sign which reads "Mount Weather Quarantine Ward".

Who Do I Have To Kill To Get Some Room Service?

We now at least have everyone on Earth. Abby will go in search of her daughter who is locked up in Mt Weather. Kane will hopefully die a painful death. Octavia has escaped with Lincoln. Bellamy and Finn are presumed dead... but don't be so sure. And now we have three groups of bad guys to contend with-- Grounders, Reapers and Mountain Men (plus dont forget the mutated wildlife and possible radiation fallout).

Grade:I would give these 7 episodes 3 3/4 Monsters (out of 5). The finale was great though. I'd give it a 4 1/2 Monsters. We may need to rename the show though. We started off with 100. By my calculations, we may now be down to 18 (give or take a few). And now I'm off to season 2.
