Legends Of Tomorrow Season 3 Finale: Death By Cuddling

We all knew the battle to save the universe from with Mallus (don't dare call him "Mollusk") was end game this season. The demon god previously left Nora's body and hijacked Damien's before sprouting wings and cloven hooves. In "The Good, The Bad, and The Cuddly", the Legends must utilize the six totems in order to defeat him. The team attempts to hide in Salvation, North Dakota but Mallus finds them anyway. Good news is they all get to dress up in Western duds.

One of the great things about this episode is it brought back the baddies from earlier episodes. We have the Vikings with Leif Erikson's sister, the Pirates with Blackbeard and the Roman army with Caesar. Jax, Jonah Hex, Helen of Troy., Kuasa and Ava join the good guys. Who knew Helen was such a bad ass? She must have been taking lessons from Wonder Woman.

Rip courageously gives his life to buy the Legends more time. i hate to say it but the poor guy hasnt had much to do this year anyway.

In a hilarious turn of events, the six totems (air, earth, water, fire, spirit, death) combine to form... wait for it. First its a slimy pile of entrails. Oppps. Next up, our old God Of War Beebo is back and now he's 50 feet tall. He yells "Beebo wants cuddle" as he body slams Mallus a few times. Then Beebo goes full WWE and stomps the demon into oblivion. And with that the world is saved...for now.

After the battle, Nate drops Amaya off back in 1942 Zambesi (so she can complete the timeline where granddaughter Vixen becomes a superhero). Is this the last we've seen of her? She doesnt want him to erase her memory so she can cherish their time together. Also is this the last we'll see of Darhk, Amaya, Rip and Jax? Anything is possible on this show so I'm not sure they're gone for good.

In the end, the Legends end up in Aruba 2018. Remember this is where they were in the season 3 premiere. As Zari, Sara, Mick, Nate, Ray and Wally chillax on the beach, Constantine arrives. He says Sara unleashed more than Mallus from the Dark Side. He throws a dragon head in front of them. And with that we'll have to wait till next year for more adventures.

Grade: 5 Monsters (out of 5). LOVED IT!!! The reason I love "Legends" so much is they dont take themselves too seriously. Despite a shorter season (shared with "SuperGirl") and limited budget, they make the most of what they've got. All the actors work their butts off to sell the show. Whoever decided to off Mallus via a giant Beebo deserves an Emmy IMHO. I laughed out loud when he made his first appearance! Can't wait to see what "LoT" has in store next season. And I'm so happy Jess Macallan (as clone Ava) and Matt Ryan (Constantine) will be back as series regulars. Not sure about Gary. It would be hilarious if he keeps popping up from time to time.
