Love, Death And Robots Review: We Need A Full Length "Three Robots" Movie Stat!

"Love, Death, and Robots" is currently available on NetFlix. It was created by David Fincher and Tim Miller and features 18 unrelated animated shorts. Each features one of themes in the title and is under 20 minutes long. The stories have decidedly different looks given they were created by various animation teams from around the world. NOTE: This series is NSFW so definitely keep the kiddies away.

There are a few episodes with photo realistic CGI. You'll recognize Samira Wiley, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Topher Grace. The rest are strictly animation. There are several really good ones that I would like to see be made into movies or their own series. They are listed below (with my most favorite on top):

Three Robots- Loved it! I really hope that becomes a longer movie. Two words for ya-- oppose-able thumbs.
When The Yogurt Takes Over- I always knew yogurt would be the end of us. But if you're in Ohio, have no fear. Yogurt loves O-H-I-O for some reason.
Alternate History- Words can not describe how delightfully bonkers this is. If you want to check out the possible options, they are here BE WARNED: It is definitely not PC. Also gelatin as a WMD.
Shape-Shifters- Excellent premise. I want to see more of this world.
Beyond The Aquila Rift- Sexy and scary at the same time.

Grade: 5 Monsters (out of 5). Excellent! "Love, Death, and Robots' features a number of great NSFW animated shorts. "Three Robots", "When The Yogurt Took Over" and "Alternate Histories" are my absolute favorites. I'd like to see these made into full length movies or series of their own.

There were a few that I didnt like as well but it's just because of the style of animation or the story didnt interest me as much. Over all, this is a VERY STRONG showing. More of the same please NetFlix!
