In "A Cry For Help" Beth tells Tara that her boyfriend Brody is really Perry the Stalker. Meanwhile a bus driver is beaten and groped by a shadowy female character. Jack and Janice are on the case. The first suspect is of course a red herring. Next a hairdresser is attacked. Are these cases related? The stalker's real name is Cory and she went to school with both of the victims. But the real scumbag is Sophia's husband Scott. Years ago Scott, Henry, Sophia, Cory and Meg were out partying. Scott raped Meg and Cory. Meg later died of an OD. Cory is out for vengeance. The TAU cant hold Scott since the statute of limitations has expired. However they do discover that he is still raping young girls. Cody can have some closure after all. Perry confronts Beth in the parking lot. He says Ray really did a number of her by killing her whole family. Beth breaks down and asks Janice for her help.
A hockey player's ex wife writes a "tell all" book in the aptly titled episode. Then people from the book start disappearing. There's more decoys along the way. Turns out the kidnapper/murderer is hubby Tom. He's gone a little nutso. Meanwhile Janice works with Beth (real name Michelle) to get the dirt on Perry. Janice confronts him in a parking lot saying his has mommy issues (and that his mother killed herself to get away from him). It's a set up. Perry starts strangling her and is arrested for assaulting an officer. Dont mess with Janice people! Ethan knows Jack is his father and confronts him on the street. Jack and Amanda chat. Jack comes over to play video games with Ethan. That was a touching scene.
Grade: 3 1/2 Monsters (out of 5). The stalkers of the week cases were pretty boring. I like the show best when it focuses more time on the core characters. I hope Janice gets an expanded role. I have the feeling she's crazier than everyone else already.
