Go Away Bilith, Ya Butt Naked, Bloody, Big Fanged Freak!
- Alcide officially becomes the pack leader and eats what's his name's arm. Apparently the pack master gets all the ladies he wants. Three way for the wolfie!
- Luna, having disguises herself as Steve Newlin, dies. She makes Sam promise to take care of her daughter. Now everyone knows about shape shifters since she switched back to herself on live TV.
- Lafayette (alias La La) is fabulous as always. Unfortunately the only scene we see him in is when Sam brought Emma back to the bar.
- Much of episode 1 is spent with the rest of the gang trying to escape a naked, bloody, big fanged Bilith.
- Eric keeps trying to get Pam to give him some space. He did release her after all so she does not have to obey him. She is upset that during their 100 years together he did not once mention that he had a vampire sister.
- Tara and Pam are still figuring out their relationship. You can be it won't be typical or boring.
- Jessica is summoned by Bill. Sookie ends up staking Bilith but it doesn't do any good. We still don't know what Bilith is supposed to be (but he apparently is not easy to kill).
- Eric gives Sookie back the deed to her house and Sookie revokes his invitation to enter so out he goes. Did he have to be so dramatic and stab himself to write the note? I'm sure Sookie had a ballpoint pen. Nora finds out Eric is in love with Sookie and notes that that's his "weak spot".
- In the funniest scenes of the episode, Andy Bellefleur is not sure what to do with his four fairy babies. Arlene and Terry are trying to help him. The babies appear to grow very quickly. They were infants at the beginning and toddlers at the end of the show. Better start advertising for a Fairy Nanny there Andy.
- The governor of Louisiana, Truman Burrell, orders all vampire businesses closed and a curfew is instated. He tells all humans to buy as many guns as possible to defend themselves. Cops come for Pam. Tara tries to stop them and gets shot. I didn't find the actor playing the governor to be very effective. I would have definitely cast someone else in that role.
- Jason is hitch hiking and is picked up by an older gentleman. It never dawns on poor stupid Jason that might be a bad idea. It turns out the driver of the car is Warlow (who is the vampire who "owns" Sookie). He also killed their parents years ago and was Lilliths original progeny (small world isn't it)?
