In "Geronimo" the Transitional Authority is reeling after discovering Phyllis and her invalid husband have been murdered. Interestingly, no one else sees the bodies. They were already taken away before Will, Beau and Jennifer arrive. Hmmm, I wonder what that means (if anything).
We learn how Geronimo posters are distributed from the Green Zone throughout the bloc. It's a lot of kids with backpacks and skateboards. Will and the Red Hats capture two people they think are responsible. But who is the real Geronimo? He may not be an actual person after all... but more of a rallying cry for the Resistance. That doesnt stop Procter Snyder from broadcasting that Geronimo has been apprehended (and that a number of loyal citizens gave their lives during the capture). Snyder presides over a show trial. Luis Ortega (the guy who was broadcasting Geronimo messages) is hung. This is after Snyder promised to spare his life if Luis pretended to be THE Geronimo. All this is of course carefully staged propaganda for both the Hosts and the citizens alike.
Will implies that Jennifer might be the mole in the department. Jennifer counters saying Phyllis suspected his wife Kaite of being a spy. Uh oh. Watch out Katie.
Pia leads Bram on a run to the other side of the wall. All the buildings are intact but no one is there. This is Pia's eleventh trip. Is anyone else alive outside the LA bloc? I'm not so sure. The kids take instant coffee, Magic Markers, etc. Will because suspicious when he sees Gracie with the markers. Bram says he traded them for some oranges.
Helena (played by Ally Walker) arrives. She apparently is a higher up than Snyder and has direct contact with the Visitors. What's her real game plan? It would be interesting if Helena and Phyllis were actually aliens that disguised themselves in order to learn about the human condition. Don't ya think?
Next week promises to be a showdown between the TA and the Resistance with Will and Katie in the middle. This should be good.
Grade: 4 Monsters (out of 5). No major reveals this week but I'm still very much enjoying the show. I dont expect many answers this year since "Colony" as renewed for a season 2.
