How Long Must I Pay For The Sins Of Jenny Schecter?

This week's episode is entitled "Slouching Towards Bethlehem". Why? Your guess is as good as mine. Anyway, here's the highlights:

Irisa tells Nolan she wants to kill herself and be free of Irzu. Nola says poppycock. "Its science and it can be fixed with science". He sounds a lot like Rebecca on "Under The Dome". Maybe they should get together. 

The Votanis Collective is threatening to blow up New York City if Nolan and company dont save the day. Gorath knows things. They try to interrogate him with some freaky parasitic worms. This is apparently known as "EGO Extraction".  

Stahma is visited by Tommy and Berlin. They want intel on Gorath. Tommy calls Stahma madame. She insists upon favi. Stahma says she doesnt know anything about Gorath. She only visited him while hubby was in jail because she has "needs". Stahma starts some trouble between the exes when she mentions Berlin and Nolan's relationship. Tommy is not happy. Stahma is definitely the smartest person is any room.  

Stahma later goes to see Datak. They have hate sex. Don't come a knockin' if this trailer is a rockin'. She leaves him a gun. Reiga the Senloth is outside the whole time. He's not a happy camper. He tells Stahma "we risked our lives taking your side and now Datak will kill us". Stahma says then you should live each day as if it's your last. Ouch! That is harsh.

I Seriously Need To Find A Different Line of Work Said Reiga To No One

A strange masked man says Kenya is alive. Who is he? Is he Pottinger? He says he will kill Kenya if Amanda does not deliver Gorath. How is she supposed to do that?  

Meanwhile Irisa ends up in the camp of a Casti fishmonger. This is the woman that Irisa attacked in Angelarc. She has the same visions of the ship that is buried in the mines under Defiance as Irisa does. She is also attacking people only to have them resurrected afterwards. It seems Irisa now has her own cult. Everyone sits around the camp fire while Irzu hugs Irisa a little too closely. That creeps me out. Little Irzu looks a lot like Chuck from "Child's Play". 

Amanda sneaks Gorath out of the cell, but before she can get him out of town, Gorath is shot by Datak (to keep him from talking about their arms deal). Gorath is able to give Nolan the location of the NYC bomb right before he dies. How convenient. Gorath wasnt really a bad guy though. The baddies were holding his family hostage in Brazil. 

Now Amanda has no way to find her sister. She/Nolan devise a plan. They pretend Nolan is Gorath by putting a bag over his head. But the baddy sees right through it and runs off. Amanda thinks Kenya is lost forever. But just then she comes around the corner. They share a long hug. It's a touching scene. And on a related note, Yewll knows Amanda is a drug addict. She tells Amanda to come back to her office later and she will start withdrawal treatments.

• Yewll calls Amanda "pudding". Too Funny. 
• "This is where it will begin...arkrise"- Irzu to Irisa. 

Grade: 4 Monsters (out of 5). While the bomb story was kinda lame, extra points for Kenya's return. Things are going to be heating up at the Tarr house next week. It may be hard for Stahma to explain to Datak why she did not kill her human lesbian lover as instructed.
