House Of Cards Episodes 1-2 Recaps: Politics Is Not For The Faint Of Heart

The first season of House of Cards is currently available on Netflix. I believe this is the first time Netflix has developed original programming. All of the episodes were released simultaneously. A second season is already in development.  I'm interested to see how this does. For me, most of the fun though about watching a show is discussing with others what happened in the previous episode and what may happen in the next one.

The main character Frank Underwood is a US Representative from South Carolina. The show is based on a previous BBC series (which was based on a book).  Episode 1 opens with Frank killing an injured dog with his bare hands. Frank was promised the Secretary of State  job by the President. The President then gave it to someone else. Frank vows to seek revenge. Soooo glad I'm not a politician. I'm not cut out for slimeball, back stabbing, jocking that seems to go on. Check out "House Of Cards" and let me know what ya think.
