Lots of reveals in tonight's episode "Manhattan":
- As predicted Neil is indeed Rumple's son Baefire and is Henry's father. Neil is mad at Rumple because he let Bae fall through the hole into our world. Henry is mad at Emma for lying to him about his father. There are lots of people with parental issues on this show.
- I can't keep track of the family tree at this point. Rumple's son is Henry's father so Rumple is Henry's grandfather. Snow White and Prince Charming are his other grandparents. Rumple may also be Regina's father (I don't know for sure but he and Cora had some sort of hookup). Snow is Regina's stepdaughter. Regina is also Henry's adoptive mother. Now if Emma and Regina get together it will be really crazy.
- That seer girl was freaky. When someone shakes hands with her, do they poke her in the eye? She told Rumple that the young boy would be his undoing. "Then I'll just have to kill him" says Rumple. Uh oh. That's not good.
- Was this whole story an elaborate plot by Rumple based on what the seer told him? If so I don't understand what he got out of it-- a maimed leg, a wife who left him, a son who won't speak to him, and a girlfriend that doesn't remember him. Great planning there Rumple.
- Regina didn't need magic to find out what was in Belle's purse. Just go over there and look. Now Out-Of-Town-Greg has more ammo. I wonder if he works for TMZ or some other trash mag.
- Cora wants to get the dagger so she can control Rumple and get him to kill Snow, Charming and Emma. Regina won't let Cora kill Emma.
- A few of the recurring themes to me in Once Upon A Time are: 1. Destiny- was Rumple destined to be a coward no matter what he did? Was Regina destined to be evil? She didn't start off that way. Was Emma destined to be the Savior? 2. Revenge- revenge/anger haven't gotten anyone what they wanted. In fact, it has had the opposite effect. All Rumple, Regina and Cora have gotten from it is being alone. Remember dearie, all magic comes with a price.
