Here's the highlights of last night's episode. I calls 'em as I sees 'em.
- A mysterious visitor (Greg) was texting and driving (always a bad idea). He hits Hook and crashes his car in Storeybrooke. They (Emma, the Charmings and Leroy) take him to the hospital. He is the first "outside" visitor ever. Should they kill him or help him? Rumple won't help save him.
- Hook survives being hit by the car but he has a few broken ribs. No much else is going on with Hook this week.
- Rumple heals Belle's wound (from Hook shooting her). Belle still has amnesia though. Why can't he heal that too? Rumple brings the teacup and tries to remind Belle of who she is. She throws Chip against the wall and breaks him. How sad.
- The best part about OUAT (besides Lana Parrilla) is that make the characters are so relatable. If Rumple or the Evil Queen were ALL evil ALL the time we wouldn't have a problem hating them. But they are fragile and needy and we see why they act as they do. It's most often out of pain. Damn you OUAT for being too good!
- This episode focuses on Dr Whale's (Dr Frankenstein's) backstory. To be honest I don't care much about this story (but it is cool in black and white). It's not a Fairytale. Even Henry knows that Frankenstein shouldn't be on this show. Anyway Victor's Father is mean and loves his brother (Gerhardt) best. Gerhardt gets shot and Victor turns him into the Frankenstein monster (thanks to a heart from Rumple). Frankenstein (the brother not Frankenstein the mad scientist) kills their father after he attacks Victor. Later Frank wants Victor to kill him and put him out of his misery. Oh and there are no neck bolts in this version of the story.
- Cora gives Rumple a magical globe so he can “find the one person in this universe who might still love you (Bae). After all I’m doing the same thing". She then kisses Rumple and calls him "master". EEEKKK!!! Is Rumple Regina's Daddy? If so she doesn't have a chance in hell of being a decent person.
- Cora goes through everything at Regina's house. Regina is hiding in her cool all white living quarters under the Mausoleum. Cora disguises herself as Henry and Regina lets her in. Right when we think there's going to be a smackdown, Cora tells Regina she loves her and wants to reconcile. They drive off in the car together. NOOOOO! Regina do NOT trust that woman! She is going to kill everyone. I really hope Regina was not as gullible as she appeared.
- Ruby has special wolfie powers. She can sniff out Dr Whale and is super fast and super strong. We need more Ruby on the show.
- Alas there was no SwanQueen this episode. If Regina wasn't on this show I wouldn't be watching it. There! Now I've said it and I feel better.
- And the mysterious visitor did see something after all. We're in trouble. They should have killed him when they had the chance but noooo they had to be all moral and do the right thing.
- New episodes aren't back till February 10th. Three weeks is too long to wait.
