Here's what happened in episode 4 "Revelation" and episode 5 "Reconciliation" in no particular order:

Rebecca is still hell bent on killing off half the citizens in order to protect their limited resources. Apparently the food will be gone in seven days. But how to decide who lives and who dies? No problem, make big Jim do it. Big Jim has a crush on Rebecca so odds are she can get him to do anything she wants.
Rebecca graciously helps Jim by making a virus (from sick pigs). They can stick it in the water supply. She goes as far as to attend a church service with the intent of putting it in the holy water. Luckily she has a crisis of conscience at the last minute.
Meanwhile the Scooby Gang is trying to find out what happened to Melanie Cross. They go the archives to look through microfiche. That was funny to watch. Yes kiddies that's the way we had to do it in the old days before the Internet.
Junior asks Lyle to tell him about his mother. Lyle says she sent postcards of her paintings to him. They are all of events that have happened in Chester's Mill-- the falling stars, the egg, etc. Have these events happened before or how was she able to see the future?
Melanie finally remembers that she, Sam, Paulette and Lyle found a meteorite and opened it (the same way our kids did). There was an egg in it. Melanie tried to protect the egg and was killed by Sam because of it. Uh oh. That's going to cause problems.
In the final scene of episode 4, Sam tries to kiss Julia. She dodges him but asks him to stay anyway. We see scratches under his shirt. Did he get those while killing Angie? He peers suspiciously from behind Julia. Is he going to try to kill her too?
After the cliffhanger at the end of episode 4, Julia is still alive. Lyle has run off with Pauline's journal. Sam is still is still lurking about. He gets Junior drunk and almost smothers him with a pillow. We now know for sure that he killed Angie. Does he have the kill all the hands in order to escape the dome? If so, how nice it was of Junior to tell Sam the names of everyone... NOT!
Meanwhile Julie wants Big Jim and Rebecca to stand trial for trying to poison the water supply. A red shirt pulls a gun and he's shot and killed by Sheriff Phil. It's back to jail for Rebecca and Jim.
Julia encourages everyone to voluntarily pool their food resources. I'm not sure that's a good idea. There is an explosion and Carolyn, Julia and Barbie are hurt. They think the food is gone.
Back at jail, Jim tries to convince Barbie that Sheriff Phil is dangerous. Should we believe him? I'm not sure. Barbie heads back to the fire station just in time to find Phil holding Carolyn hostage with a knife. The food was not destroyed. He has it safely locked in another room. There is a fight. Ex-Sheriff Phil is shot in the shoulder. Will he survive? If so he's off to jail with Jim and Rebecca. Pretty soon everyone in Chester's Mill is going to be in jail.
Dead Melanie touches the dome. Nope, not going to get any answers from it.
Joe kissed Norrie and then Melanie kissed Joe. I dont care.
I'm glad Carolyn is back for a few scenes. Why not let her be in charge for a while?
Yes there is a tunnel in Melanie's locker. I hope they end up in Hell. That would make this show much more interesting.

"The virus was stronger than I thought, if the evidence changes, your thinking has to change, it's called science!"- Rebecca the science teacher. I swear Rebecca. If you say one more sciency thing, I'm going to crawl through my TV and punch you in the face.

Grade: 3 Monsters (out of 5). Dome, your're losing me. That last episode was a real snoozer. I'm hoping the residents turning on each other will start to pick up the pace. We obviously know no one will be getting out of the dome any time soon.
