At the opening of "Hello Raskolnikov" Annalise reveals her version of the story to the police. It is intercut with what actually happened (which is very different). Annalise returned home to find a dead Sam on the floor with Wes standing over him with the bloody Lady Justice statue. She tells Wes to remove the body and burn it. He does exactly as she says (thus implicating the Ketting Five and Rebecca). Asher is the only person not involved. Annalise tells the police that Sam has fled because he was about to be discovered as Lilas's killer. Annalise has covered all her bases by: 1. Calling Sam several times to apologize for their fight; 2. Calling Bonnie and accusing Sam of being at her house; 3. Going to Nate's house for a quickie.
I'm Interested To See What Michaela Means By This
Annalise and Wes discuss keeping everyone calm during their police interviews. Wes gives Annalise Sam's wedding ring. People, it's not a good idea to be keeping that! Rebecca is still on trial for Lila's murder. The team has three days to prove that Sam and not Rebecca is the killer.
Yep Nate Is Wrapped Around Annalise's Little Finger Too
Nate is also suspicious of Annalise's motives in visiting him. She acts all lovey dovey and he's OK for now. Bonnie wants to talk about the blowup she and Annalise had (but Annalise doesnt want to process). Annalise tells Frank... something (we dont know what it was but I seriously doubt it was the truth). She says "Bonnie can never know." Is Annalise trying to set up Bonnie for Sam's murder? I wouldnt put it past her.
Annalise gets Sam's laptop added as evidence. It proves he drove to Lila's sorority house and to the abortion clinic on the night that Lila was killed. Annalise had previously proven through DNA analysis that Sam was the father of Lila's baby. Rebecca is exonerated.
We're Just Innocent Law Students. STOP LOOKING AT US THAT WAY!
Connor and Michaela start to crack and try to get Laurel to join their side.Laurel goes to Wes who tells Annalise. Annalise says she can help them IF they trust her. Final exams begin. The class is presented with a fictitious case in which one person kills a clerk and everyone else with him helps dispose of the body. The task is to figure out how to get the individuals declared innocent. Hmm I think I've heard that story somewhere before.
Sam Keeting's sister (Marcia Gay Harden) arrives. Uh oh, she's going to be trouble.

Grade: 4 Monsters (out of 5). Most of this episode was a recap of earlier events but it successfully reminding us why we're obsessed with these characters.
The episode title "Hello Raskolnikov" refers to the main character in "Crime and Punishment" who murders two people and then tries to get away with it. He's mentally unstable so it's a rough go.
Do you think Sam really killed Lila? I'm leaning towards it being Annalise and then she set up Sam as the fall guy.
Annalise's staredown of the two women who were talking about her in the restroom was great.
What's up with the Annalise/Wed dynamic? At first I thought she was romantically interested in him. Now I'm leaning towards she is his son and she gave him up for adoption at birth. Also what's up with Bonnie/Annalise? I think Bonnie is in love with her?
There are only 3 episodes left and then the two hour season finale on 2/26.
