Pepper of course went to live with her sister in the last episode so she's nowhere to be seen.
Stanley visits Jimmy in jail. As predicted Stanley gets Jimmy's lobster claws as payment for a nonexistent lawyer. Remember Jimmy was framed by Dandy as the Tupperware Party Murderer. Jimmy thought Stanley would only take one hand. Instead both are gone. Del finds Jimmy in the hospital. They share a tender father/son moment. Del feeds him and shares that he knew a chef with no hands who used hooks to cook. Maybe Del has some redeemable qualities after all.
I Suddenly Have The Urge To Buy A Baby Chameleon
Looking For Love
Flashback time-- Chester watches with Marjorie the puppet as his wife and her friend get it on. I personally enjoyed the scene. Chester is not interested though. He goes to the garage to work on his act. When he returns both women are dead. Marjorie has come to life (in the form of "AHS" alum Jamie Brewer). Welcome back Nan! Chester and Bette/Dot do the deed but only because Marjorie participates. Hilarious-- a four way with conjoined twins and a puppet. That was freaky even by "AHS" standards. My hat is off to you Mr Murphy!
Just When We Were Seeing His Softer Side
Del tells Elsa what happened to Jimmy. Everyone is distraught. Amazon Eve says she'll help Del rescue Jimmy. They'll be a strong man/strong woman team. And no we havent forgotten that Del attacked Eve previously. They stop the police va. Both guards are killed and Jimmy is saved. But upon returning home Desiree corners Del. Remember Desiree and Maggie's trip to the American Morbidity Museum? At the same time Maggie shows Elsa the tank containing Ma Petite. Del finally verbalizes that he smothered Ma and is promptly shot in the head by Elsa. At least he did one good deed before he died.
On Second Thought I Take Back What I Just Said
Elsa plans to sell the circus. The freaks all band together but she rejects their offer. Del and Jimmy talk separately about buying it. She sells it to Chester (but then realizes he's crazier than a bed bug). He wants to make Marjorie the main act.
Dandy Is Unhappy
Dandy makes an appearance. It seems his private investigator has been keeping an eye on the freak show. Dandy is not happy that Dot and Bette lost their virginity to Chester. He throws a Dandy Tantrum. Will he go on a killing spree next week?
Marjorie is missing and Chester is completely frantic. The police arrive. Chester thinks they're going to assist with finding Marjorie. "She's two feet tall fully extended" he says. That made me laugh out loud. Uh no, they're not looking for Marjorie. A shakedown of the camp ensues. Dandy confronts Chester saying he knows about his past. He then tells Chester where Marjorie is. Marjorie instructs Chester to kill Dot and Bette. He refuses... for now. Poor girls. Every time they turn around someone else is trying to kill them.
Grade: 4 1/2 Monsters (out of 5). Yes I know we only have two episodes left and dont need any new characters at this time. I've tried to get rid of any expectations I have about this show. How very zen of me. I still enjoyed "Magical Thinking". Neil Patrick Harris is always wonderful to watch and gives each character 110%.
