I Would Ask If You Want To Hook Up But Apparently We're Both In Love With Hannibal
Will and Chiyoh travel on a train to Florence (I assume). They dance around each other and expound on how Hannibal has changed them. Chiyoh tells Will "If you dont kill him, you may become as bad as he is". Will imagines Chiyoh impaled on antlers. Chiyoh returns the favor by first kissing Will and then pushing him off the moving train.
Rinaldo, You Really Should Have Stayed At Home
Pazzi wants to collect the bounty on Lecter's head. He calls Mason and is wired some of the money in advance. From the previous episode we know Verger plans to eat Hannibal alive. Poor stupid Rinaldo. Doesnt he know he's no match for Hannibal?
Quick Alana, Disguise Your Voice...Nevermind, It's Too Late.
Rinaldo goes back to see Hannibal (Dr Fell) a second time. They chat about Rinaldo's ancestors and how one died by being disemboweled and then hung. Just then, Alana calls Rinaldo. Hannibal answers saying "You've caught me at a rather awkward moment. Nice to hear your voice." Alana is horrified-- but she previously predicted that Lecter would kill Pazzi. Hannibal asks Rinaldo "Bowels in or out?" and then kills him in the exact same fashion as his ancestor. That was quick. Jack arrives to the gruesome scene of Rinaldo hanging while his intestines lie splattered on the ground
It's About Time Hannibal Got His Ass Kicked
Jack and Hannibal have an epoch battle. Jack is better prepared this time that he was at Hannibal fateful dinner party. Jack pushes Hannibal through a bunch of glass and hooks him in the leg. Go Jack! Hannibal says "How will you feel when I'm gone?" Jack replies with "Alive!". Jack then shoves Hannibal out the window but he braces his fall by hanging onto Pazzi's still dangling body. Hannibal hobbles away but Jack does not pursue him. I of course wanted Jack to finish him off-- but then the show would be over. Next week Jack tells Will he didnt complete the job because Will should.

Grade: 4 1/2 Monsters (out of 5). A fun episode. Yes, there were EVEN MORE closeups of snails this week. "Hannibal" should win an award from the National Snail Association (no, I dont know if they exist) for free marketing this season. We saw another GREAT fight between Jack and Hannibal. This time Jack comes out on top. Unfortunately he lets Hannibal escape. Poor Rinaldo pays the ultimate price for trying to capture Hannibal. Did he seriously think the outcome was going to be any different?
