They initially have problems starting a fire so decide to use charcoal and sand to create a water filter (to sanitize water found in limestone deposits). They discover some snails but would have to eat 65 per day to meet their nutritional requirements (per person). They set crab baskets and other traps but cant catch anything. In desperation, they go hunting at night (and finally get two crabs).
Luke struggles along the way but manages to hang in there. They walk six miles through the jungle to their extraction point. Luke and Alyssa worked well together (and there was no bickering).
PSR (Primitive Survival Rating):
Luke beginning 6.8; ending 7.2
Alyssa beginning 7.1; ending 7.8

During the first day they get a fire started and can boil water). Afften is already showing signs of heat exhaustion and is throwing up. They finally find a turtle and a snake to eat.
After vomiting at least once per day every day, Afften taps out at day 7. Zack has to go it alone for 14 days. He kills an iguana and dodges a poisonous snake but his health is deteriorating. He plans to take two days to get to the extraction point. He has a 102.5 fever so things are looking dicey. But Zack is tough. He just keeps pushing forward (and uses his wife as inspiration). Not sure what the record is for days alone but this has to be up there. I'm very impressed with Zack. It's not that he didnt have challenges. He just managed to keep pushing through them.
Zack beginning 6.8; ending 8.1
Afften beginning 6.0; ending 4.4
