Witches of East End Episodes 7 Recap: Beware Of Bad Ingrid

"Unburied" is one of my favorite episode thus far. Last week we learned that Wendy had accidentally killed Ingrid in one of her past lives. Joanna then killed Ingrid's evil boyfriend Archibald. Archibald's daughter Athena witnessed all of this. And in the biggest reveal, we discovered that Penelope (Dash and Killian's mother) is actually Athena. And she is about to open a can of "whoop ass" on the Beauchamp girls. Got all that?

This week, present day Ingrid is still giving Wendy the cold shoulder for her past murder. Once murdered, twice shy I always say. And we learn that Penelope is indeed Joanna's doppleganger (I think). Penelope raises the older version of Ingrid (1906 Ingrid) from the dead. She must find the golden serpent key which opens a door to another dimension (or some such strangeness) and give it to Penelope. In exchange, Penelope will allow Zombie Ingrid to seek her revenge upon Wendy.

Freya casts a spell so she can stop dreaming about Killian. Dash finds out about her kiss with Killian though and goes to the medical conference in London ALONE. Wendy hooks up with Leo again. It's a good idea to think about settling down after you've played the field a few hundred years.

There is a new mystery man hanging out at the library. Mike may be Ingrid's next love interest. That girl doesn't waste any time. Didn't poor Adam just die last episode? Joanna reads Freya's tarot cards. She sees a destroyer/ trickster and a good guy. My bet is Dash is the baddy and he's been in cahoots with Penelope all along.

Zombie Ingrid tricks Wendy into following her to an isolated area. BAD IDEA! She keeps asking about the serpent key. Wendy says it disappeared hundreds of years ago. She then kills Wendy. Joanna finds them. She turns Zombie Ingrid into dust and takes Wendy home. When Wendy recovers (cause ya know she gets killed all the time) Joanna sees that her necklace has turned red. That means this is her last life. And in the final scene, Joanna digs up a box that contains... the serpent key. Uh oh!
