Isnt This A Great Pic?

Joanna and Wendy are still in shock after finding Ingrid and Freya hanging from the backyard tree last week. They put the girls in the living room for the time being. Wendy offers to give her remaining life but which girl should she save? Joanna dismisses her suggestion saying that is not the answer.

Not Sure What All The Candles Are Supposed to Accomplish

Meanwhile the Gardiner boys recover from their brawl. Killian gets a fireplace poker and sticks it in Dash's chest. Dash tells him to kill him but Killian refrains. Killian instead goes to the bar where he encounters a drunk Frederick. Freddie is babbling about how Killian lured him to the dark side in Asgard 400 years ago and how he was bad for Freya even back then. Freddie basically blames Killian for Freya's death. Uh no, I dont think so. Freddie punches Killian. Next Killian runs over to the Beauchamp house and clutches Freya's dead body. That was a very touching scene. Meanwhile Dash grieves by having sexy times with some lady named Raven at the Bent Elbow. OK then. She later turns out to be an FBI agent. She's at the scene where Kyle's body washed ashore. Is she a witch too?

What Is Raven Really Up To?

Back home Killian is getting the evil eye from one of Eva's statues. That little sucker wont go away no matter how many times he breaks it (just like Eva). Dash stops by. Killian tells Dash that Ingrid is dead and to get the hell out. Killian sees a note on the bottom of the statue and goes to New York where he meets Eva's great granddaughter (who of course looks exactly like Eva). Like I said, she wont go away.

Wendy returns home to find that Joanna has slit her wrists in the tub. Oh dear. I definitely did not see that coming. Luckily Wendy saves Joanna and magically heals her wounds (but Joanna is not grateful because she's tired of the endless cycle of losing her daughters over and over again). Great acting by both Julia and Madchen. I am confused though. I thought Joanna was immortal and couldnt kill herself. Didnt the King punish her by making her immortal and that she has to continually watch her children die and then give birth to them again?

Wendy and Frederick finally determine that bringing the King back is the only way to save the girls. Say what? That sounds like a REALLY, REALLY bad idea to me. They find Tarkoff who is STILL alive (can someone please kill that guy) and tell him to finish the ceremony so the King can enter Tommy's body.

Do Not Trust This Man (Also Is It Just Me Or Does He Remind You Of Hannibal Lecter?)

King Daddy arrives. The first order of business is to lock Tarkoff in a cell for killing the girls and torturing Freddie. Good! The second order of business is to resurrect the girls. Ingrid says her spirit stayed in the house but Freya's went to the Underworld. Can we see the Underworld please? And it seems Daddy has been sick recently. As a result he's decided that he loves his family and just wants them to join him again in Asgard. I seriously hope no one is stupid enough to believe that. That man cannot be trusted as far as I can throw him. Anyway, at least the girls are back.

Very Awkward Family Reunion

Joanna opes the door to the past. Remember it was referred to in an earlier episode. She has to retrieve something that will help with their current situation. Joanna, Wendy, and Freya escape through the door. Where exactly did they go? Is it Victoria England? Will they see older versions of themselves? Ingrid decides at the last minute that she wants to stay in East End with Grandpa and Freddie. Why? That girl makes some really bad decisions.

Grade: 4 1/2 Monsters (out of 5). "The Fall of the House of Beauchamp" was a great episode with lots of surprises. There are three episodes to go till the end of season 2.
