Continuum Season 4 Episode 2 Review: Everyone Makes Their Choices

In "Rush Hour" hologram Kellog tells his present self to trust the soldiers from the future. Kellog later meets with Marcellus and arranges for supplies to be sent to a specific location. Kellog tells Alec and Kiera that he kidnapped Emily. He wants the stolen Piron data back. And how many times is poor Emily going to be kidnapped?

Star Crossed Lovers?

Kiera meets up with Brad. They both need to trust each other. Kiera says she does but I'm not sure either is on the up and up. Do you buy these two as a romantic couple?

That Looks Like It Hurt

A badly disfigured Dillon now works for Kellog. He gives Kiera an outfit that Kellog requires she wear during their luch meeting. Liber8 (Garza and Travis) attempt to poison Kellog. Kiera figures it out just in time (thanks to help from Lucas). It looks like Kiera is drowning him in the fountain but she actually saves Kellog's life.

Chair 1, Bad Guy 0

Meanwhile Emily beats the crap out of her captures with a chair. That girl is seriously bad ass. Alec also shows up to help. He doesnt care what the consequences are. Jason later reveals to Emily that she is NOT his mother...I think. The way he said it was a bit ambiguous so I'm not sure.

Road Rage

Carlos sees Garza and Travis lurking in a car. He rams them at full speed. Travis and Carlos have a great fight sequence. Dillon shows up and saves Carlos' life. Travis is hauled off to jail. Kiera drives away only to find Garza hiding in her car.

Curtis visits Kellog. "You dont know anything. You and that radio transmitter friend of yours" says Kellog. Curtis responds with "Agreed. We all know there's so many paths with so many outcomes. A hero on one branch. A villain on another. But you cant achieve either all on your own." I have no idea what Curtis' real motivation is.

Emily & Alec In Better Times

Kiera, Alec, Emily, Garza, Lucas, Julian, Jason all settle down for a nice dinner together. There's not much of Liber8 left so I guess Garza is TeamKiera now. Emily excuses herself and packs. She tells Alec that she must leave because her presence puts him in danger. She is Alec's Achilles heel. Alec begs her to stay but it doesnt do any good.

Grade: 4 Monsters (out of 5). The two stellar fight scenes pushed this week's score higher. Emily definitely kicked ass with that chair. And the Carlos/Travis battle was a fun one. How many times is Travis going to get shot this season?
