Let Us Pause For A Moment Of Self Reflection
Babs is crank calling Jim and Leslie. Speaking of Babs, she and several other prisoners including Jerome (the Joker) are broken out of the asylum. They agree to work the Galavan brother sister duo. Theo is played by James Frain (who must be a clone because he's EVERYWHERE). He is joined sister Tabitha who is very violent-- I like it!
What Are They Up To?
Meanwhile Bruce and Alfred break into a secret room. There is a note there from Daddy Wayne (Thomas). He tells Young Bruce to choose between his happiness and his "true calling". The Riddler argues with himself in the mirror. And "Zaardon the Soul Reaper" flutters about. He's a funny one.
Do These Stripes Make Me Look Fat?
Grade: 4 Monsters (out of 5). A good start to the season. I do like the evil Babs. I hope she wreaks havoc on the city. Not sure I will watch "Gotham" regularly since there are too many episodes for my taste. I assume there be 22 again. Also I find the "villain of the week" structure to be boring at times (although the writers say they have done away with that this year). Time will tell. I will check back on occasion and see how it's going.
Did you know Ben McKenzie (Jim Gordon) and Morena Baccarin (Leslie) are expecting a baby IRL? Congrats to them.
