Speaking of Palmer, he's trying to woe his lady love back. Seriously, what is up with Coco? And why does she want to be around that shriveled old prune?
Finally! Oops, Nevermind.
Abe, Fet and Nora are off in search of the Occido Lumen. They go here and there. Abe finally locates it only to have it stolen from him again. Venture to guess who his assailant is? Or does anyone care at this point?
That's Gonna Cost Ya
Justine tries to shake down some Upper East Side big wigs for her services. I'm all for it but does anyone have time for such things cause...ya know... vampires.
Did The Master Give Coco A Personality Transplant As Well?
As predicted, Eph and his sniper rifle don't kill Palmer. Instead it's Coco that bites the bullet. Palmer is safe. Eph and Dutch are hauled off by the police. Palmer asks the Master to save a dying Coco by giving her a little blood. What will Coco become now? I have hopes that her "meh" character will join the good guys and become a kick ass vampire hunter. Time will tell.
Hmm, Locking Yourself In Eph's Cell Was Probably Not The Best Idea
Eichorst and the strigoi attack the police station. Them trying to sting Eph through the cell bars was the best scene of the episode. If we had more of these, I wouldn't be so frustrated with the show.
Twinkies Anyone?
And in the final scene, Dutch is chained in Eichorst's torture chamber. Well this can't be good. Remember the last poor guy that was down there? I don't totally love Dutch's character but this is still a bad way to go. Will Fet save her in time or is she destined to be Eichorst's next meal?
Grade: 3 3/4 Monsters (out of 5). A lot of time was spent on boring dialogue with a few thrills thrown in. The strigoi police station attack, Coco's conversion and the fate of Dutch were the best parts. The rest of the episode was snooze-inducing.
There are only three episodes left this season so I hope they get it together. And where was everyone else this week? There was no Gus, Angel, Quilan, Kelly or Zach. OK I'll admit it. I'm glad Zach was MIA. .
