"I wish they had Pain-O-Vision so you could feel what we went through"- E.J.
Why did they move the season finale to Saturday instead of Sunday? If there were any promos about it being on a different night I missed them. Luckily you can watch all the episodes on the Discovery channel website: http://dsc.discovery.com/
Episode 7 provided additional comments/footage from the contestants. The major themes that were reiterated: it was hell for 21 days and even though the participants were naked, there was nothing romantic about being stuck in the wilderness together. Everyone was just trying to survive-- not starve, not die of thirst and not get killed by any number of animals (snakes, alligators, lions, hyenas, etc). My hat's off to anyone who even tried it.
Maintaining a positive mental mindset might be more important than even the physical challenges. And needless to say, if you're stuck with someone you don't get along with-- 21 days can seem like an eternity. Shane, sorry dude but you still seem a little crazy (even in the recap episode).
So will there be a season 2? I hope so because I really enjoyed. The show seems VERY popular (at least it looks that way from my website traffic). The only higher traffic I've ever gotten from a show as a whole is "Doomsday Preppers".
