Hank tries to get Jesse to give up Walt. We're not sure if he will but just then Saul arrives. Will Jesse survive till the end of the series? It's not looking so good.
Walt tells Walt Jr that his cancer has come back. Sure, con your kid with your cancer diagnosis. Besides the little spot on your lung, why not tell him your heart is black as tar while you're at it.
There is a super tense dinner meeting between Hank, Marie, Walt, and Skylar. Extra points for the cheerful server who was pushing the guacamole (made right here at the table). Hank told Walt to "be a man". Just when we thought Hank might do that, his confessional DVD (which he gave a copy of to Hank) blames Hank for everything (including killing Gus Fring). He says Hank made Walt use his chemistry knowledge to manufacture drugs and Hank used his DEA connections to sell them. He was even forced to pay Hank's medical bills. Hank threatened Walt's family if he didn't comply. Well played Mr White, well played indeed! Now Hank and Marie are royally screwed if they do anything.
Showdown in the desert. Saul brings Jesse to meet Walt in the desert. Walt tells Jesse he needs to get away and start fresh. Jesse says just come clean and tell me I have to leave or you'll kill me. Jesse starts crying and Walt hugs him. I kept waiting for Walt to shoot or stab him. Whew, at least Jesse made it through that scene alive. Saul sends Jesse to meet a guy who's going to give him a new identity. While waiting it dawns on Jesse that they have stolen the ricin cigarette. He storms back to Saul's, beats him (while Saul was yelling "code red") and takes the cigarette back. Next Jesse runs to Walt's house and pours gasoline everywhere. We know from the flash forward that Walt's house didn't burn and the ricin cigarette was hidden in the electrical outlet (so someone/ something stops Jesse). Poor Jesse. Why didn't he just leave town as quickly as possible?

Grade: 4 1/2 Monsters (out of 5). That was a GREAT episode! Can they keep up this pace till the end? I'm hoping so.
