Ancient Aliens Season 6 Episodes 1-3 Recaps: Power Of Threes, Crystal Skulls and Anunnakis (Season Premiere)

Just catching up on new episodes of "Ancient Aliens". Season 6 airs on the H2 channel. Some reruns also appear on the History channel. Yes, the show has been criticized as pseudoscience and pseudohistory. But that doesn't stop me from watching it. I view it as entertainment (similar to "Conspiracy Theory") and not fact.

Many of the same commentators from previous seasons appear in season 6. Giorgio Tsoukalos (Mr Crazy Hair), David Childress, Erich von Dänike, George Noory, Linda Howe and Jonathan Young are back. Footage of Philip Coppens also appears (may he rest in peace).

Episode1: "Power Of Threes"
This episode highlights how the power of threes is found in many cultures and religions and is also very important in geometry and physics. I didn't understand all of it but it was still an interesting episode. Some important 3s: the Trinity, Sir Isaac Newton's 3 laws of motion, and Geometry (A2+B2=C2).

It also mentions an emerald tablet believed to contain ancient wisdom about transmutation, longevity, and other secrets of universe. Newton supposedly had a translation but the tablet has never been found. The author was believed to be Hermes Trismegius who got the info from ancient Egyptians.

Episode 2: "The Crystal Skulls"
This episode focuses on 12 quartz skulls believed to have mysterious powers. Some people believe they are artifacts left by extraterrestrials. One skull has yet to be discovered. When it is, followers believe all 13 will work together to release the wisdom of the cosmos.

I still don't understand when the skulls were first discovered. One reference said they were hundreds or thousands of years ago. Another reference says that the Nazi's had at least one crystal skull. The Nazis were very much into the occult and were some crazy F$<#ers.

There is also a story about inhabitants of Atlantis putting all their secret knowledge into the skulls (similar to how we use quartz in computers today). All we have to have is the technology to extract the info.

Episode3: "The Anunnaki Connection"
The Sumerians (located in present day Iraq) were believed to be one of the oldest civilizations in the world. It's capital was Ur and was the home of Abraham. They had a lots of firsts including written language. Their writings on cuneiform texts reference winged creatures know as Anunnaki who were the messengers of the gods (the Sumerians were polytheistic).

They have a creation myth that a god took blood from another god and mixed it with mud to make humans. Ancient astronaut theorists believe the Anunnakis were really extraterrestrials. Many cultures from around the world have stories of creatures coming to Earth (angels etc) and having offspring with humans.

Grade: 4 Monsters (out of 5). No matter the question, the answer is ALWAYS aliens (per ancient astronaut theorists). I enjoyed these episodes. They had info I had not heard of previously-- the Emerald Tablet, the Crystal Skulls, and the Anunnakis.
