We're midway through the first season on "Witches Of East End". Will there be a second season? What are your thoughts now that we have a few episodes under our belt? And what does the episode title "Electric Avenue" have to do with anything? I'm confused.
This week, Ingrid had a hard time letting go of her recently deceased boyfriend Adam. She conjure him up as a "conscious apparition". I think that means he's a ghost. Only issue is if he doesn't leave by the full moon he'll be stuck in limbo forever (which I guess is a bummer but he seems to be having a pretty good time).
Freya encounters Dash's ex Elyse who committed suicide. She has a thing for Killian too (so they have that in common) and wants to kill him so they will together forever. OK, I have no problem with that.
It seems that when Ingrid conjured up Adam, Elyse came along for the ride. Ingrid needs to lay off the magic. Her spells are always going astray. Freya is the only one who can see Elyse which led to some scenes where she was arguing with herself. Hilarity ensued.
In the other storyline, Maura Thatcher is still trying to testify against Joanne for murdering her husband but is cray cray thanks to Wendy's spell. So case closed (cause that's how justice rolls in East End). In a related storyline Joanna and the immortal lawyer Harrison do the horizontal mumbo. More of that please. We'd like all the juicy details.

With a heavy heart, Ingrid conducted the spell that released Adam (thus releasing Elyse with him). Excellent acting by everyone involved (especially Rachel Boston).
Grade: 4 Monsters (out of 5). Extra Monsters for the tear jerking scenes between Ingrid and Adam. I had previously thought of Ingrid as a lightweight but that girl has some acting chops.
