Episode 9 continued to focus on Russo's run for governor of Pennsylvania. Vice President Matthews is trying to sabotage Russo since the DNC wouldn't run him in his home state. Peter calls him on it and Matthews ends up endorsing him.
Claire is secretly working against Frank/Russo's waterfront project so she can get Remmy to force the Sudanese government to release her water filters (which are held in customs). The bill is defeated by two votes. It's the two senators she told to "vote their conscience".
Zoe tells Frank she wants to put the brakes on their personal relationship. Frank retaliates by not giving her any information. She agrees to have sex with him again but reminds him that he's twice as old as her and she does not find the sex enjoyable.
Episode 10 was the best episode to date. Frank finds out Claire stabbed him in the back. Russo threatens Frank. Zoe threatens to publish info about him and Claire. Claire confronts Zoe about her affair with Frank. Frank is catching it from all sides.
Claire goes to New York to stay with Adam. Zoe spends the night with her friend from the Herald. Frank sets Russo up by having someone get him drunk so he botches his radio interview the next morning. Doug thinks he is in the bathroom but when he opens the door he's MIA. This episode was so good I may not be able to wait till next week to see the conclusion.

Grade: 4 1/2 Monsters (out of 5). I'm expecting something big to happen in the last three episodes.
