In the last episode we met Delphine (who is a potential friend and possible love interest for Cosima). Delphine suggests they go to a talk on “Neolutions" by Dr. Aldous Leekie. Neolutions uses technology to accelerate a person's evolutionary potential. We know Dr Leekie shouldn't be trusted the minute we see him. And you probably shouldn't turn you back on Delphine either.
Meanwhile back at Casa de Clone, Alisson hosts a neighborhood party. Only problem is she has Donnie tied up in the basement. She commences torturing him with craft scissors and threatens to sequin him to death. i wonder if the CIA uses these methods? Then she gets drunk off her ass and passes out.
Sarah is called in to take her place. Felix is recruited to bartend. Hilarity ensues. Alison has a nosy neighbor named Aynesley. Maybe she is Alison's monitor and not Donnie. Oh well it never hurts to add a little S&M to spice up a marriage.
Meanwhile both Vic and Paul show up at the party. Uh oh. Apparently Paul has a GPS on Sarah's car. Vic thinks Sarah is running a scam and wants a cut of the profits. Paul threatens Vic with a nail gun. He's trying to get info out of him but all Vic knows is Sarah's last name. Poor Vic isn't going to have any appendages left by the end of this show. Last week a finger was cut off. This week a nail in the other hand. Maybe this is a sign you should stop hanging around with Sarah!
Paul however still can not be trusted. He apparently doesn't know anything else about the clones but is still dangerous. He has some pills in a bottle of whiskey waiting for Sarah. And in the last scene we see Delphine is in cahoots with Leekie. Curses. So much for finding a nice girl for Cosima.
Grade: 4 Monsters (out of 5). There were a number of funny moments in this episode. Who knew clones could be so hilarious? They should star in their own comedy-- I love Lucy and Lucy and Lucy and Lucy.
Just got into the show. I couldn't find episode , so I read your summary. I find all of this creepy. But All of this monitoring and basically the layout of the show has me intrigued. Last but not least, my nickname is Lucy. Now im completely creeped out.
ReplyDeleteHaa wasn't sure if I would like the show but now I love it. If you don't catch the show on BBC America, its on Google Play for I think $2 an episode. I wish it was available on Netflix or Hulu.
