I keep forgetting all the clones are the same person due to the great acting chops of Tatiana Maslany. Here's the highlights from episode 8:
- Art and sidekick are getting close to the truth (although they move at a snail 's pace). They visit Mrs S and Felix. They also question Beth (but we know she is really Sarah).
- Allison says she and Donnie are getting a divorce. She still thinks her nosy neighbor Aynsley (the mail snooper) is her monitor. Allison has sex with her husband Chad in the car. Allison and Aynsley have a knock down drag out in the street. That was funny. I came across the song "Bitch" by Meredith Brooks on my iPod today. I forgot I had that. Guess who I thought of?
- As you recall from last week, Olivier lost his tail. Paul tells him to stick with the story about only one clone being at the club. He's in no position to put up a fight. Dr Leekie arrives and knows Olivier is lying. He has Olivier killed when no one else is around.
- Cosima and Delphine finally knock boots but its only because Dr Leekie told Delphine that she needed to finish her job with Cosima right away. Delphine tells Leekie the names of all the clones. There are 9 total but 5 are dead. Dont you dare toy with Cosima's emotions!
- Sarah finally tells Mrs S the truth. Helena is downing some packets of something. What is that? I'm pretty sure its not Crystal Light. Helena shows up at Mrs S's and gets Kira to go outside with her. When Kira returns to the house she is hit by a car and is in bad shape. Oh dear. And for the record, Helena did not directly cause that but she did lure Kira of the house.
- Mrs S told Sarah that she sometimes took in orphans who were "in the black" (meaning that they were off the books). She said some children were rumored to be the subjects of medical experimentation. Now we know know where the series name "Orphan Black"comes from. I had been wondering.
