Caleb (who is back to robbing banks) seems to be this show's version of Sergio. Caleb has killed one person thus far. Sergio was a serial killer who ate parts of his victims. Let's hope Caleb doesn't go that route.
Jacob and Caleb share a mysterious mental connection. Jacob dreams about them being taken. He also knew where Caleb was hiding after the bank robbery. The resurrected may know more about their "condition" than they are letting on. When Caleb is captured he says "This is only the beginning".
"In Insomnia" Bellamy and Langston look for Caleb's buried money. They try to get the info out of him with threats such as "karma's an anal probe" but that doesnt work. Caleb isnt afraid of torture or death. Bellamy goes to Elaine. She returns the bags of cash (it was under her porch). She is seriously fed up with her father. Caleb, who is locked up in jail, tells Bellamy he knows about the boy who haunts his dreams (prompting Marty to have another flashback). Then Caleb says "more are coming, more than you'll ever know". And with that Caleb vanishes from the cell (which is the same thing Simon did in "The Returned"). Yep definitely more "deadies" will be in Arcadia soon. Marty runs to the Langston's house but Jacob is still here. He says "Caleb is gone isnt he"?
Meanwhile Rachel goes to see Dr Maggie. Turns out she is pregnant. She got pregnant BEFORE she died. Is the baby going to be dead, a monster or normal? This is similar to when Adele gets pregnant with Simon's baby on "The Returned". She got pregnant AFTER she returned though.
Grade: 4 Monsters (out of 5). I'm still enjoying the show but would have LOVED it if I hadnt seen "The Returned" first. And like "The Returned" we may not have all the answers anytime soon.
