Lewis escapes from prison thanks to faking his own death. He is hot on the trail of Benson again. He has kidnapped a young girl and is threatening to kill her unless Olivia agrees to meet him. She goes to the abandoned building (really bad idea). They play Russian roulette with a pistol. That was very uncomfortable to watch (which makes for great TV). You know Billy isnt going to kill Olivia though since we havent heard she's leaving the show. Lewis finally shoots himself. We only see the aftermath (which is the blood splash from Billy on Benson's face). Will she be blamed for his death? I think that's what he was counting on. And poor Olivia is going to need even more therapy.
Grade: 4 Monsters (out of 5). I dont recap "Law & Order: SVU" on a regular basis but I saw the first Billy episodes so wanted to see it out till the bitter end. I'm glad they finally concluded the story line. Where else were they going with it otherwise? Great acting all around by Hargittay and Schreiber. He's very convincing as a psycho.
