"Hail, Hale" was a great lead-in to the season finale. Hale is going to be appointed Ash. Lots of fae attend the inauguration (including the Morrigan). Who invited her? Why Hale did. That was a really bad idea Hale (as you will quickly learn). The human bartender slips Dyson some poison in a drink. Other humans disguised as Skunk Ape Paramedics kidnap him. We all know humans can't be trusted. Skunk Apes on the other hand can be fully trusted.
Tamsin (who is a hot drunk mess) shows up while Bo is bathing and gets in the tub with her (with her clothes and gun still on). She mutters something about Bo being too perfect and she shouldn't exist. Uh Tamsin, I don think all that water is good for your gun. And somebody's got it bad for Bo (get in line sister)!
Bo is still looking for Lauren (or shall we call her Karen) after their "Its just a break" / "No its really a break up". She finds her cell phone and necklace. Oh dear, not good signs. Meanwhile Tamsin is homesteading at Lauren's since she's tired of living in her truck.
While Tamsin is helping Bo look for Dyson, Bo finds a photo and the bottle in which Tamsin collected the hairs to create the spell. Bo quickly contacts Kenzi and asks her to find out whats up. Some far too aggressive dude is hitting on Kenzi at the party. Turns out he's the one that told Tamsin what to do for the spell. He has the last item that was needed--a kiss from Kenzi.
Kenzi may be slow on getting back to Bo because the Morrigan has a coop and overthrows Hale and declares all humans "terrorists" and enemies of the fae. A big muscled guy is chasing Kenzi. Hale kisses her and slips something into her pocket so there is hope. Trick (who almost escapes) is thrown in the trunk of a car.
Back at the lab, Lauren/Karen is finding out things are not as they appear. All the research Lauren thought was going to better mankind is actually being uses to capture fae. Scientist dude (OK he has a name and it's Dr Issac Taft) is really a crazy lunatic who's trying to make himself fae (like we didn't see that coming). He's responsible for the fae graveyard that Tyson and Tamsin found. He forces Dyson to fight a Lupercus to the death. In Roman mythology, Lupercus is the god of shepherds. Dyson wins and rips out his throat.
While Tamsin and Bo try to break into the compound, Tamsin takes a bullet for Bo. I don't think she gets killed though cause we see her in next week's previews.
Grade: 4 Monsters (out of 5). Cant wait till the finale. We finally get to see the Wanderer (who I assume is Bo's father). I really hope Tamsin is back next season. She is now my favorite character.
