This is the episode NBC pulled due to the Boston bombing tragedy. The abbreviated episode is available on Youtube as a 6 part web series. Per screencrush.com "NBC opted to pull tonight’s intended ‘Hannibal’ episode “Ceuf” for content that featured children committing violence against other children, out of sensitivity to the Boston Marathon bombings. The network assured that skipping ahead an episode to “Coquilles” wouldn’t create any major continuity issues."
Here's the highlights of the episode (which had an air time of less than 20 minutes so there's a lot missing). Why not put the whole thing online? You don't have to watch it is ya don't want to.
- Abigail is in a mental hospital. It doesn't sound like she's getting much out of it. Dr Bloom encourages her to work on her issues.
- Hannibal busts Abigail out for the day and gives her some magic mushrooms. He also cooks sausage and eggs (hence the title) since that was the last meal she ate with her parents. She calls Lecter and Bloom "family" while under the effects of the shrooms.
- We find out both Will and Hannibal were orphans so Abigail is not the only one with "family" issues on this show.
- Am I the only one that thinks Dr Bloom is really, really gullible?
- Hannibal lurks around Will's house while he's gone.
- Oh and apparently "ceuf" is the French word for egg.
Grade: I'm not assigning a grade to this one since much of the episode was missing.
