Episode 3 entitled "Variation Under Nature" fills in some of the missing spots in the storyline-- what was Beth doing, where did the money in her safety deposit box come from, etc.
Alison shows Sarah how to shoot. Sarah and Art are almost killed. Art doesn't see the assailant but its a blond mutant clone. She says "Not yet Not Beth" and then Sarah stabs her in the stomach with some rebar. Why is she trying to kill the other clones and how did she get all the scars and deformities? She apparently has some mental issues too since she only speaks in rhymes.
Art gives Sarah back the $75,000. She was going to skip town with Keira but decides to stay to help the other clones.
Clone count:
- Good clones: Sarah, Alison, Cosima
- Bad clones: the Ukrainian blond clone we saw at the end of this episode
- Dead clones: Beth, Katja
Favorite quotes:
- "You just broke the first rule of Clone Club"- Cosima to Sarah.
- "She was just one a few, unfit for family, horse glue"- disguised voice on the phone describing Katya.
- "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made"- highlighted Bible verse (Psalms 139:13) that Sarah and Art found in the suspect's house
