And a great finale "Welcome To The Tombs" was! We knew the body count would be 27 at the start of the show but didn't know who would bite it (so to speak).
Andrea met her long predicted demise. The real kicker was that it was at the hands (well really the teeth) of Milton the Zombie. Milton refused to kill Andrea so the Governor stabbed him. If Andrea hadn't stopped to jibber jabber with a dying Milton instead of getting the pliers, she would still be alive today. And I still don't buy that a woman who became so adept at killing zombies could be overpowered that easily. I think they just wanted to get rid of her because the fanboys hated her. Anyway back to the story. The final scene between Andrea, Rick and Michonne was especially touching. And ya know Mich doesn't get emotional about anything. RIP Andrea. I will miss you (even though you made some really stupid decisions).
In other end of the world news, Team Governor attacked the prison but... surprise... nobody's home. It's a trick. Team Rick drives them from the prison. Wasn't that too easy though? That seemed way too easy to me.
The Governor goes ape shit and shoots ALL of his people (25 total) except for Martinez and that other guy. One woman escapes by playing dead under another body. Rick finds her and they all go back to Woodbury. Tyrese and his wife are on guard duty. She tells them what happened. In the next scene a bus pulls up at the prison. Now they have a whole mess of people to replace the ones that keep getting killed.

Speaking of people getting killed, ya better keep Carl away from the newcomers since he has developed a penchant for shooting people. And Old One Eye is lurking around somewhere. Where did he go? It wasn't back to Woodbury. Maybe they stopped off for coffee and a donut. I do that sometimes after a hard day of warring. You know we haven't seen the last of him.
Body count: 27 people (including Andrea, Milton and the Woodbury crew) and an untold numbers of zombies. Who I REALLY want dead (the Governor) is regrettably still alive.

What did you think of the finale. Was it what you expected? What do you think will happen next season?
Grade: 5 Monsters (out of 5). I know some viewers weren't happy with the finale but I'm still giving it 5 Monsters. Yes the story line made no sense at times but, after watching this show for so long, losing one of the original survivors is like losing a friend.
