Chill Or You're Going To Get Us All Killed
Everyone is suffering with the grief of their losses. Sasha has become very angry and is a danger to herself and others. She quickly shuts down Abe when he says she's among friends. Maggie is also in a bad spot. She rips Father Gabriel a new one. Daryl goes off by himself to cry over Beth and burn himself with cigarettes. Carol kisses Daryl on the forehead.
A Touching Moment
It finally rains so they wont die of dehydration this week. Better be collecting as much of that as possible. The storm gets heavier so they all retreat to a nearby barn. Rick gives the "We Are The Walking Dead" speech. A large group of zombies attack the barn during the night. Everyone holds the doors together. Was it just a dream? I'm not sure.
A Weary Maggie Hanging Out In The Barn
Maggie and Daryl console each other. Then Maggie and Sasha go outside and watch the sunrise. A tornado struck in the night pinning many of the zombies under broken tree limbs. Maggie and Sasha listen to Beth's music box (that Daryl fixed). Then some weird guy named Aaron shows up saying he has good news. Stranger danger! I think he's a Jehovah's Witness. Dont trust anyone that clean during the zombie apocalypse?
Too Friendly & Clean = Evil
Favorite Quotes:
- Maggie: "How much longer we got?" Sasha: "Sixty miles." Maggie: "I wasnt talking about that."
- "You are among friends"- Abe. "We're not friends"- Sasha. Oh snap!
- "Dont think, just eat."- Sasha to Noah.
- "We are not the same"- Sasha compared herself to Tyreese (RIP Tyreese)
- "Quality assurance"- what Eugene says when drinking the water before Abe slaps it away.
- "We're not them"- Daryl in reference to the zombies.
- "We are the walking dead."- Rick
- "I have good news!"- Aaron. Never trust clean friendly guys during the apocalypse.
Grade: 4 Monsters (out of 5). The episode drug a little but I'm not complaining since everyone got out alive (unlike the previous installments). Who is this Aaron guy and what new dangers will the group encounter? And my vote for the most cringe inducing scene was the zombie girl tied up in a trunk. How sad. She seemed much more human to me than the rest of the zombies they encountered.
