Orphan Black Season 2 Episode 3: Clone Club Minus One

This episode entitled "Mingling Its Own Nature With It" has Sarah, Felix and Kira on the run. They steal some food by using Kira as a decoy and then proceed to tell her how wrong stealing is. They hold up in a house that is owned by a guy named Cal Morrison. He turns out to be Kira's father. Who knew? Felix feels betrayed by Sarah and returns to town to support Alison (whose play is opening soon). Cal's line of work is mini drone pollinators (whatever that means). 

Cosima sees a video journal of Jennifer Fitzsimmons. She suffered from the same respiratory ailment as Cosima but died three days earlier. Alison calls and reminds Cosima to beware of her monitor Delphine. Delphine and Cosima do an autopsy on Jennifer. The source of her autoimmune disease seems to be in the uterus (hence why none of the clones except for Sarah can have children). Incidentally I think Jennifer is clone #11:

Angie is stalking Alison (but Alison sees straight through her). The play "Blood Ties" opens. During a musical number Alison falls off the stage right in front of Donnie. It might have something to do all the pills and little bottles of booze she downed. An ambulance is called. 

Helena is still being held captive by the religious nutcases. Henrik marries Helena in a binding ceremony (but she wasnt an active participant since she was drugged out of her gourde). Meanwhile Art is still investigating the Protos. 

And you'd think Sarah would know by now not to let Kira out of her sight. She may be the world's worst parent. Daniel ambushes them. He wants Kira but she is able to escape back into the house with Cal. Daniel makes Sarah drive a getaway car (after he pumps about 10 bullets into a local cop). The episode concludes with their car being sideswiped. Obviously Sarah will not be killed but we can always hope Daniel is. 

Grade: 3 1/2 Monsters (out of 5). This episode was a little slower than others but no worries. I'm sure it will pick up again soon.
