Orphan Black Season 2 Episode 4: Someone Please Get Helena A New Dress

When we last saw the clones, Sarah had been kidnapped by Daniel and was being forced to drive the getaway car (which was then sideswiped by...someone). In "Governed As It Were By Chance" we find out that "someone" was Cal. Sarah is not injured. They believe Daniel is dead and try to conceal the car with some shrubbery. Uh, I'm thinking that's not going to work too well. Sarah returns to the city to investigate Project Leda. Kira stays with Cal. 

After Alison's fall from the stage last week, she was taken to drug rehab. She is visited by Donnie and Felix. She wants to leave but Donnie threatens to take custody of the children if she does. 

Cosima sees the video diary of Jennifer (who died several days earlier). Cosima and Delphine perform an autopsy. Cosima is continuing to hide how sick she really is. 

Helena has some eggs removed by Henrik (and they appear to have already split). That was fast! Gracie tries to smother Helena with a pillow. Bad cult member! But as we know Helena is really hard to kill. She gives a beatdown to Gracie and escapes into the woods. Meanwhile Art is outside spying on the Protos. Helena runs right by him and keeps on going. Art is not a very good cop. Instead of trying to help her, he just shows the Protos his badge and inquires about their gun permits.  

Sarah and Felix go back to Mrs S's house to look for clues. They see two scientists on a picture labeled Project Leda. They are Rachel's parents. Hmm, the plot thickens. Meanwhile Mrs S goes in search of an old friend and gets frisky with him. You go girl. 

Helena follows Sarah to Rachel's hotel. Uh oh, Daniel (Rachel's boy toy) is back. We all knew he wasnt dead. He tortures Sarah (by cutting her behind the ear). What's that about?  He hears a commotion and goes to investigate. 

The action happens off screen but we see Daniel choking. Is he really dead this time? We then see Helena in her blood soaked dress. Can someone get that girl a change of clothes? Sarah, who was afraid before, is now seriously terrified (since she thought she had killed Helena). What is Helena going to do? Just when I thought she was going to try to kill Sarah, she hugs her in a touching moment. And who else completely forgot this was the same actress playing both roles? 

Grade: 4 1/2 Monsters (out of 5). A great episode with lots of clone action. Has Helena decided that she loves Sarah now or is she just cuckoo? What about that Leda story that Cosima told Helena? Zeus visits Leda in the form of a swan and, per some accounts, rapes her. She then has some half human / half god children. Does this mean the clones are demigods? And I say it every week, but ALL THE AWARDS IN THE UNIVERSE SHOULD GO TO TATIANA!
