The Walking Dead Episode 13 Recap: What About Bob?

This episode entitled "Alone" continues the recent practice of focusing on a few of the splintered survivors. What do we really know about Bob Stookey? Not much. Darryl found him on the road alone. He had been with several groups previously. When asked, he says he killed only one person but it's because they begged him to. He's an alcoholic that at one time was more interested in booze than protecting his fellow man. It appears he has somewhat gotten his act together since then.

Bob has found a family unit with Sasha and Maggie. He and Sasha share a kiss. Will they become an item? I'm thinking she's not interested. Sasha wants to stay in an abandoned building but Maggie wants to look for Glenn and continue on to Terminus. I'm not sure what I'd do in that situation but I'm leaning towards staying put. And why was Maggie on the ground amongst the zombies when Sash saw her out the window?

Darryl and Beth get closer in the funeral home. I thought they were about to hook up but then the zombies attack. Darryl fights a horde off with another dead body. Then he runs outside and someone has kidnapped Beth. He is exhausted and sitting in the middle of the road when a group of thugs happen by and tell him to join them or else. They're the same mean bunch that broke into Rick's house.

The award for best use of a zombie goes to: Maggie for using zombie blood to leave a message for Glenn about Terminus. The girl also wields a mean zombie-killing-sign.

Grade: 3 1/2 Monsters (out of 5). Not a bad episode but a little slow for my taste. There are only 3 episodes to go in the season so everyone hurry up and get to Terminus!
