It became increasing evident that there was something very wrong with Lizzie. Was she this way before the outbreak or was it due to the trauma of the ZombieApocalypse? She couldnt comprehend that the zombies would kill her. And no amount of talking seemed to convince her otherwise. I thought her behavior would eventually get Mika killed. I did not foresee that Lizzie would actually turn Mika into a zombie to prove that they're just like everyone else (only a little different). Luckily Carol and Tyreese returned before she could kill baby Judith as well.
Carol realized at that point what had to be done. No one would ever be safe around Lizzie. Tyreese finally agreed as well. Carol shot Lizzie while she was looking at the flowers. Would it have been more humane to leave her at the farmhouse to fend for herself? I'm not sure. She couldnt survive on her own. That was gut wrenching to watch.
Carol is my favorite character on TWD. When we first saw she was the beaten down wife of an abusive alcoholic. She watched her daughter turn into a zombie and be killed. She has consistently done what no one else wanted to do in order to survive. I'd take my chances with Carol any time.
There are only two episodes left in season 4. Will everyone finally get back together or do we have to wait till season 5? Please let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
Grade: 5 Monsters (out of 5). Absolute perfection. There is nothing that could make this show any better.
