"Survivorman's Secrets Of Survival" airs Fridays at 10 PM on the Science channel. There doesn't seem to be much hype about this on the Internet for some reason. I don't see anything on Wikipedia or the Science channel website. There is some info on his website: http://lesstroud.ca/news/survivormans-secrets-of-survival-sept-6th I'm not sure how many episodes are planned.
Survivorman (Les Stroud) lists his top five methods for finding food, finding water, making shelter, McGyverisms, etc. He combines footage from previous shows to demonstrate each. I found the episodes very informative and like this format better than him going to one place for 10 days.
